Distance - Repercussions

New 2 disc album from man like Distance, this one will be the release of the year...

"A long time after his debut album, Bromley based DJ and Producer, Distance reveals his second album due to drop on November 17th on the impressive Planet Mu label. Distance’s influences come from Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, Electro and 'Life' – surely caters for everyone, especially when you have tunes with such contrast like No Sunshine and Victim Support on the same CD. Reaching out to those feeling the beautiful melody in No Sunshine and to the battered and bruised praising tunes like Victim Support and V."

Beautiful Losers is a film about contermporary art and street culture directed by Aaron Rose & Joshua Leonard. I caught the premier at the National Film theatre on the South Bank. Found it a really interesting and inspiring film.

Featuring: Aaron Rose, Barry McGee, Chris Johanson, Ed Templeton, Geoff McFetridge, Harmony Korine, Jo Jackson, Margaret Killgallen, Mike Mills, Dianna Templeton, Stephen Powers, Thomas Campbell, Shepard Fairey & Cheryll Dunn.
